As a licensed physical therapist, Alan’s career spans more than three decades. After spending his early years in a hospital setting and several years in mentorship under the industry’s pioneers, Alan formed the first Sovereign Rehabilitation's (SR) in 1982. After 12 years of significant growth, SR merged with a national rehabilitation company. Alan subsequently led that company’s most successful region.

Jill Jacobs brings more than 20 years of physical therapy and leadership experience to the SR team. A licensed physical therapist, Jill is responsible for patient care, overall SR marketing, and development of therapeutic programs such as aquatic therapy, workplace solutions and women’s health.

Jill is trained to administer Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Impairment Rating Calculations (IRC). She also has completed specialized training in Paris manual therapy techniques.

Elizabeth is responsible for providing clinical excellence for patients and providers alike while overseeing daily clinic operations. Liz's expertise includes treating patients with orthopedic dysfunctions at the shoulder, hip, knee, and foot as well as spine dysfunctions. She is also excited to work with patients with balance and other neurogenic impairments.

Liz is an alumna of Emory University's Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program from which she graduated with honors after graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Exercise Science. Liz earned her certificate in Vestibular Rehabilitation at Emory University allowing her to provide individualized and efficient treatment of patients with vertiginous symptoms and balance disorders. She has taught at Georgia State University as an adjunct instructor for the physical therapy program. Liz is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia.

A native of Atlanta, Liz has participated in the local swimming community since she was seven. In her spare time, Liz enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, and playing with her Dalmatian, Bailey.

Licensed physical therapist and certified strength and conditioning specialist Jeff Thomas, PT, is the Clinic Manager of SR's Lawrenceville location. In this role, Jeff is responsible for ensuring excellence in all facets of patient care and clinic operations.

Since launching his physical therapy career as a University of Georgia football program intern, Jeff has held a keen interest in sports rehabilitation. In fact, he is currently pursuing a sports therapy certification through the University of Augustine and the North American Sports Medicine Institute.

Kamilah attended Furman University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health & Exercise Science and served as an intern for one of Greenville's leading outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation centers. She later attended North Georgia College and State University where she earned a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005. There she served as a teaching assistant in the Orthopedic Physical Therapy course series. Kamilah has also been affiliated with Baylor Specialty Hospital and Baylor Outpatient in Texas where she treated a wide variety of orthopedic, wound care, acute care, NICU, and neurological patients.

Post-graduate studies include courses in sports rehabilitation from the North American Sports Medicine Institute and manual therapy treatment techniques from Paris and Maitland. She has also had advanced training in core stabilization, gait dysfunction and functional orthopaedics. Kamilah is also trained to administer Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE's).

Outside the clinic, Kamilah coaches Track and Field and Cross Country at Johns Creek High School and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching football and movies, and traveling.

Tiffany has been a licensed physical therapist since 1998.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois where she was awarded the People’s Choice Award for research.  She has worked in various settings and developed a passion for outpatient orthopedics and vestibular therapy/balance training/fall prevention.  Tiffany completed a transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Saint Augustine in 2011 with emphasis in Orthopedics and Manual Physical Therapy.  She earned certification as a Manual Physical Therapist through the University of Saint Augustine in 2010.

Tiffany has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1996 and a member of the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia since moving here in 2004.  She is committed to quality patient care and ongoing continuing education.

Outside of the clinic, Tiffany enjoys outdoor activities including biking, hiking and running.  She also enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog named Boo.

Lucia has practiced as a licensed physical therapist since 1976. Her first 18 years in the field were spent in Brazil, where she earned her degree in physical therapy from Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Campinas. Lucia has extensive background in neurological physical therapy and is NDT trainee since 1978 and has special interest in vestibular disorders. Lucia is an accomplished clinician. She brings with her more than more than 25 years of experience in a wide variety of conditions. Lucia is trained to administer Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE's). Lucia continues to develop her skills in spine mobilization through University of St. Augustine. She is multi-lingual with fluency in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
