Medial Collateral Ligament Treatment

, ,

Torn MCL Treatment in Atlanta GAThe medial collateral ligament (MCL) is a wide, thick band of connective tissue that runs down the inner part of the knee from the thighbone to the shinbone about four to six inches below the knee. Damage to the medial collateral ligament will result in pain, stiffness, swelling, tenderness, and a feeling that the knee will give way under the pressure of standing or walking. At Sovereign Rehabilitation our trained and licensed physical therapists can help patients with an MCL injury find relief from their symptoms so that they can return to an active lifestyle.
