RICK RAUSCH, PT, MBA

Rick Rausch is a Senior Vice President of Sovereign Rehabilitation (SR). Rick has worked in the rehabilitation field as a clinician, entrepreneur and administrator. Over the past 20 years, Rick has established and managed more than 20 rehabilitation sites in the Chicago market that serve both pediatric and adult populations. His focus today is to expand the Sovereign Pediatric Therapy network in the Chicago area to serve more children and families with special needs.
As a licensed physical therapist, Alan’s career spans more than three decades. After spending his early years in a hospital setting and several years in mentorship under the industry’s pioneers, Alan formed the first Sovereign Rehabilitation's (SR) in 1982. After 12 years of significant growth, SR merged with a national rehabilitation company. Alan subsequently led that company’s most successful region .
After 13 years in the corporate rehabilitation environment, Alan decided to return to the ideals and operational environment afforded by private practice. Thus, SR was re-launched in 2007.
A member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Alan is extensively published, including a third-edition textbook. He is a sought after instructor and lecturer, who has taught courses throughout the United States as well as in Chile, Japan, and Iceland. Alan is also a longtime faculty member of University of St. Augustine, a premier physical and occupational therapy college.
Alan earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and anthropology from the State University of New York (SUNY) - Binghamton and his physical therapy degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He has also completed kinesiology master’s work at New York University.
Outside the clinic, Alan’s interests include skiing, hiking, dogs and wine.

Debra Denniger, Director of Pediatric Therapy, has more than 20 years of experience as a clinic director, consultant, and hands-on therapist. Debbie is NDT
trained and certified in the administration and interpretation of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests. Debbie conducts workshops nationally for therapists on the topic of Sensory Processing Disorders and is the author of an on-line course for pediatric therapists. Debbie has a reputation for growing pediatric therapy clinics by focusing on providing highly effective, quality therapy and by empowering and providing therapists, parents and children with the tools needed to promote and achieve maximum function and physical well-being.
SALLY FANSLER, PT
physical therapist
Sally received her physical therapy degree from Northern Illinois University and has enjoyed practicing physical therapy in the Chicago area for more than 20 years. She has extensive clinical expertise in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries, postural dysfunctions and overuse syndromes. Sally has a special interest in manual therapy, sports medicine, and lower extremity biomechanics. She is certified in Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM), a technique that expedites the healing of soft-tissue problems.
As the former owner of the Clybourn Physical Therapy Center, she brings knowledge, confidence and caring to the Sovereign Rehabilitation practice. She knows the benefits of providing one-on-one quality care to the Lincoln Park community. Simply stated, Sally displays a passion for her profession and for her patients well being.
