Sovereign Rehab started the year with expansion into the Illinois market with the acquisition of Rausch and Associates Ltd.  This acquisition included an outpatient clinic on the north side of Chicago, a temporary staffing business as well as a Rehab Provider Network called Midwest Rehabilitation Group.  (MRG).  MRG does the contracting and billing for multiple free standing outpatient rehab clinics in the Chicago market.  A second clinic is scheduled to open in June as a pediatric rehab location.

The SR family is excited to announce the addition of Kerri Lively, OTR/L, CHT to the SR Hand to Shoulder Group.  She is a licensed occupational therapist and certified hand therapist (CHT) treating patients at SR Hand to Shoulder Groups' Lawrenceville and Conyers locations.  Kerri specializes in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation and she is trained to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs).  Click here for Kerri's bio.

The following outstanding rehabilitation specialists have joined the SR team, in late 2007 and early 2008, headed by the company’s founder and president, Alan Grodin, PT, MTC:

Merritt McKenzie, MHSA, OTR/L, CHT, CPAM, is Regional Director and leads SR Hands, our hand and upper-extremity division. He holds advanced credentials including a certification in hand therapy (CHT), the highest qualification an upper-extremity specialist can obtain.

Ana M.Walch, OTR/L, CHT, is the Clinic Manager for SR Hands’ West Paces and Coca Cola Company locations.  Ana is a licensed occupational therapist and a certified hand therapist (CHT).

Cindy Becker, OTR/L, CHT, is a licensed occupational therapist and certified hand therapist at SR Hands’ West Paces location. She is a charter member of the American Society of Hand Therapists.

Lisa Smith, OTR/L, CHT, is the Clinic Manager of SR Hands, SR ’s hand & upper extremity division, within the Conyers clinic.  Her expertise includes treating hand and upper extremity conditions, burns, orthopedic injuries, pain disorders and neurological conditions.  Lisa is licensed occupational therapist and certified hand therapist.

Gary Woodham, PT, is Clinic Manager at SR ’s Conyers location.  He previously managed several clinics for one of the nation’s largest rehabilitation companies and is a member of the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Jenny Hunt, PT, is Clinic Manager of the Women’s Health Division of SR, and  is responsible for managing a comprehensive program in women’s health-related physical therapy, addressing musculoskeletal issues and/or conditions following surgery for the female patient.
